One of the leaders in student safety, Singlewire Software, revealed the acquisition of Visitor Aware, a visitor and student management solution. The acquisition allows the company to expand its safety and communication offerings by adding visitor and student management capabilities to Singlewire's InformaCast software's emergency notification and incident management capabilities.

Schools and other organizations can use Visitor Aware to identify threats before unwanted guests get access to sensitive areas by screening visitors. Besides student release and pick-up, Visitor Aware also provides tools for volunteer management, tardiness tracking, rostering, and reunification.
